Over the past few weeks, I've been inspired, and trying to be "productive", as we call it. I published the Strawberry Elves pattern fourteen days ago! I'm still excited. ^_^ If only I could be a little more productive on homework...
Anyways, I spent my April Fool's day (which was a long time ago, now that I think about it...) making myself, and Harry Potter books fly in my backyard. My dad was wondering why I was carrying 1/3 of our Harry Potter books, with the help of my brother, to our backyard. That's partly why I immediately showed this picture to him afterwards! I'm sure my neighbors were wondering what on earth I was doing. Teehee. :)
So, you all know how I obviously love Harry Potter and tiny things, so I decided to create another magical picture, known as a miniature, a week later. Both books are Harry Potter! Conceptual photography, composite photography, or as I call it, magical photography is super fun. :)
I was kind of waiting for the right time to take the pictures, and in order to do that, I promised myself to use actual strawberries! I asked my mom to get some at the store. One day, she finally remembered when she went to the store and bought...strawberries! Yay!!!
All the previous times going to the store resulted in us either forgetting, or eating the strawberries before I got the chance to take the pictures. Anyways, I quickly washed the strawberries, poured them into a bowl, and set them on either a table, or a brick pathway in my backyard.
After taking about 30 photos, I narrowed it down to my four favorites, which are the four photos for the pattern!
If homework were that fun, I probably would have finished it ages ago... :) Homework can sometimes be a little fun, it just depends what you like and you're working on. We're currently having our state tests at school, and because it's computerized, except for Monday and Friday, the days of "testing" consisted of the system crashing. Sigh...
I have to say though, it was fun hanging in the classroom reading, or just relaxing.
