Hey everyone! I recently discovered this awesome crochet pattern for a flower here. (Silly Old Suitcase Blog) Seeing how many flowers made inspired me to make my own flower collection. Here's the catch: I need to work on it everyday, even if it's just one flower. (If I don't make any, the reason has to be really important.) Feel free to try this challenge as well, especially on your free time. :) So far I've crocheted three flowers (slightly differing in size), so here are the pictures! ^_^ Sorry for the darkness, by the way. I'm really excited to continue and start a lot of other projects and DIYs, especially things like these. :)
Thanks for reading, and please check back soon! -Tiny ^_^

I recently found out about this technique called "color splashing". It means to have certain parts of a photo in color and the rest in black and white. I drew a dancer yesterday and experimented with it... Here is the colorful version! ^_^ Which of the above pictures is your favorite? Comment what you think below!
If you want to know how to colorsplash your photos on your computer, you can find a Photoshop tutorial for that here. If you don't have Photoshop, there is a free photo-editing software called Gimp. I never tried it before, but I saw a few videos and screenshots of it, and it has similar tools to Photoshop. If you have a mobile device, there are also apps that automatically colorsplash your photos if you tap on the parts of the photo you would like to be in color. :) Have fun colorsplashing your photos! -Tiny ^_^ Yay! It's summer! :) So in the last post, I said I would be taking a break from the blog, and and since it's summer (Yay! ^_^) Here are some tiny fragments of recent news! I tested a tiny dragon for a friend! Isn't it adorable? Her pattern is called Baby Dragon, and you can find it here. It has for sure given me inspiration on my tiny dragon pattern! I really liked how it turned out too. It now sits in the corner of my desk in my room, along with some other things I made. ^_^ I still need to name it, but that's coming soon... I added a website logo and made tiny changes to the design of the website! I wanted to do this for a while! I just worked on it now because, of course, I have time, and I recently got Photoshop Elements 12. You probably know what that is, but if you don't, it's a photo-editing program on the computer. Well, don't worry, though this was a rather short post of the news, I'll write more soon...very soon. :)
I hope you all have an amazing summer, and there will be more things to come! -Tiny ^_^ |
About Me:Hey guys it's Phia! Welcome to my little online world. I'm a 15 year-old knitter and crocheter that especially loves making tiny things. I also enjoy dance, drawing, writing, photography, kawaii stuff...well there's more cuz it's a long list. You might occasionally see some of those things on here too. Oh yeah, and if you couldn't guess, my favorite color is orange. ^-^
I try to design my own patterns every now and then...I'm currently in the tiny amigurumi field. As you are following this blog, beware of my extreme procrastination. I used to laugh at this but it's a serious issue. Aaaand...if you're curious of my photography and stuff you could check out my Flickr if ya want. :)
We also have a Ravelry Group!
Not really active, but you can make that a reality! Categories

December 2017
Oh man. The Archives. For the sole purpose of nostalgia I like to keep this portion here but...if you peek back to my very early posts, the cringe is real. You have been warned.
