Thanks! :)
Pattern:
For the Tiny Orange pattern, you need: -4 double-pointed knitting needles size 1, or around that. (2.25 mm) -Fingering-weight yarn in 4 colors (Orange for orange, black for eyes, pink for bow, and white for Orange's dazzling smile.) -A tapestry needle for embroidery. -A tiny amount of stuffing |
With orange, CO 3 sts onto 1 needle to work in an icord.
Round #1 (As icord): [Kfb] 6 times (6 sts)
Distrubute the stitches onto 3 needles and join in a round.
Round #2: [Kfb, k1] 3 times (9 sts)
Rounds #3 and 4: Knit.
Round #5: [Ktog, k1] 3 times (6 sts)
Place a small amount of stuffing, just enough to fill up the orange. Cut the yarn, and draw it tightly through the sts with a tapestry needle.
Features:
With black, embroider two eyes using one tiny stitch (half a knit stitch) for each eye and spaced about one knit stitch apart.
With white, embroider her dazzling smile by stitching 1 knit stitch, and then right under the stitch you just made,
embroider another stitch, only a little bit smaller. To make the bow, thread about 4-6 inches of pink yarn at the top of the head. Tie it the way shoelaces are tied to make a bow shape. Trim any extra yarn.
Finishing:
Weave in any loose ends.
Enjoy your silly orange! :D
