Pictures of the Week Episode# 7

Sorry about last week! What happened was...never mind. Enough with the excuses! Pictures of the Week #7 will start in 3.........2.........1..........Micro Crochet Time!

I'm into crocheting a little more, so because I love tiny things, I decided I should try actually making amigurumi using micro crochet. This was my first attempt to make something 3-D, and I got this from a pattern on the blog Kim Lapsley Crochets. I also found this heart on The Nimble Mouse blog, so I decided to try it, because the pictures looked so cute! I used 2 strands of embroidery thread, and a 1.10 mm crochet hook. (That's the smallest size I have!) It wasn't as small as the other two hearts, but it made it at 1 centimeter!

I got this locket a little while ago, and I loved the tiny little charms! Do you notice any crochet in the back?

Now do you see it? I made a tiny crochet wheel using my tiniest hook and tatting thread. This was one of the first things I micro-crocheted!
