Looking at myself as a knitter and crocheter, I thought that there needed to be more...like I needed to learn a few new things and improve in some areas. It only makes knitting and crocheting more fun, right?
That's why I decided to work on cabling and micro crochet. I just now learned how to cable, and it was a lot easier than I expected. It took quite a few tries, but I finally got it!
That's one of the reasons why I just got this tiny 0.4 mm hook. Oh my goodness it is seriously the tiniest hook I have ever seen in my entire life!
They carry supplies for micro crochet/knitting and lacework.
That's when this happened.
I consider myself a "tight" crocheter, so beginning the heart with the magic ring was one of the more difficult parts. My 1.1 mm crochet hook did, in fact, come in handy at the beginning, when I made the magic ring, so the stitches were a little looser to start off with, and I could easily increase.
For this heart, I used a single strand of embroidery thread.
In sixth grade, I also made a micro heart with two strands of embroidery thread and my 1.1 mm crochet hook.
I love remaking things I previously made a year or two ago to compare/contrast and to see what changed.
I find it pretty interesting...
